Frog new dish for our dinner. Couscous with peas, carrots, Japanese cucumbers, onions, celery and potatoes. A very healthy meal for the dinner. What is couscous? Couscous is a small granular type of pasta made by sprinkling durum or hard wheat semolina grains with cold salted water and rolling and coating them in fine wheat flour. It is an ingredient in North Africa. Cooked couscous can be eaten hot or cold, either as a main dish or as an accompaniment. Couscous goes well too with stew vegetables or chicken. The grains are much smaller than rice but it is as filling as rice too. We bought the coucous @ jason market place. Cold storage do sell them too.

Frog added Ma Ling Green Peas which is my favourite too! Yummy! He use the olive oil to cook the vegetables. A healthier way of cooking the food.

We had microwave some chicken drumlets to go along with the couscous too. I really love microwave as you can cook food without using the oil and most importantly it wont keep the kitchen in a mess!
