Frog and I are addicted to the Viennese biscuits that I had baked last Friday. The biscuits are light and buttery. It melts in our mouth immediately and I am sharing the Viennese biscuits recipes below. It is easy to prepare and baking time takes about only 15 minutes.


Group 1

225g unsalted butter

75g icing Sugar

57g all purpose flour

Group 2

27g Milk

1 tbs Vanilla essence

Group 3

188g all purpose flour

Group 4

300g dark chocolate


Using paddle attachment, cream the butter, icing sugar and flour together till light (Group 1).

Slowly add group 2 to group 1.

Add all purpose flour in group 3 and mix together.

Using a star nozzle, pipe out the batter to baking parchment.

Viennese Biscuit 3

Preheat the oven at 170 degree celcius and bake the biscuits for 15mins.

Melt the chocolate from group 4 and dip one half of the cooled biscuit into it to coat. Gentle shake off some of the excess chocolate and place the viennese biscuit back onto the non stick mat or lightly greased baking parchment.
