Frog & I  have a craving for pizza for quite some time and so I have decided to bake a pizza and decided on what to add for the pizza. Since it was a long weekend and it will be good to prepare the pizza for our breakfast. The good thing about baking your own pizza is you can choose what are your ingredients and the amount of each to add. It is cost saving too as we know a medium pizza from pizzhut cost more than $20 but the ingredients for baking the pizza cost less than that and you can bake more than 1 pizza. Lots of mushrooms, lots of turkey hams, capsicum, pineapples and mozzarella cheese. Both of us are not into cheese and therefore we will not add to much mozzarella cheese.

 Here it goes,

The pizza crust and the pizza sauce

pizza 2IMG_4015

Freshly sliced white button mushrooms and swiss button mushrooms

pizza 3IMG_4016

 Red capsicum

pizza 4IMG_4017

 Canned pineapples

pizza 6IMG_4019

Round shape turkey ham cut into quarters

Spread the pizza sauce on top of the crust using a butter knife

Nicely lay the ham around the pizza. That is why i buy round turkey ham and cut them in quadrant instead of rectangular or square kind as it is more uniform to put them around the round pizza crust.

Next is my favourite button mushroom! It is everywhere!!!! Yummy

Pineapples and capsicum. It will be nice to add green capsicum too but it was sold out when i bought the ingredients. If not the pizza will look even more colourful with the combination of red and green capsicum.

Finally the shredded sliced mozeralla cheese

The microwave oven is preheated at 220 degree celcius and the pizzza is bake at the temperature for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, here is my pizza.

 pizza final

I had baked four pizzas of that size using 200grams of turkey hams, 1 red capsicum, 6 round pineapples and a small packet of shredded mozeralla cheese. You can try baking yor own pizza by using different kind of ingredients and add the amount  to your own liking and preference. It is really fun to bake your own pizzas and to bake for your familiy and love ones.

Oh it is good to invest in a pizza cuter too for a clean cut of your pizza. Using knife will be too messy. I bought my pizza cutter for $2.00 only at daiso. Cheap and good.

Have fun !!!
