Thinking of what to cook over this weekend? I am sharing a simple and tasty deep fried potato patty recipe known as Begedil. Begedil is a Malaysian term for deep fried potato patty usually eaten with other Malaysian curries. I love to eat begedil with Mee Soto. My mother had shared this simple recipe with me and I can make my own begedil any time.

  • 1kg Potato, peeled washed and cut into cubes
  • 1 bunch Spring Onions finely chopped

Omg… your Begedil look so yummy!

I have tested my new Rowenta OC 7891 two days ago, with baking Banana Cake.
(using canola oil) Its so soft, moist and light. And not too sweet.

    You are most welcome!
Have you made Macarons before or is this going to be the first time?

Tip: Top of piped macaron should be dry (that is, it won’t stick to your finger when touched) before baking. It’s better to undermix than to overmix the mixture.

Looking forward to seeing your Macarons photos soon!
