With a lot of neighbourhood eateries sprucing up, you need not travel down to town area for dining. In heartland areas, you can get affordable and yet delicious food in cosy shops. Frog and I had gone to Ang Mo Kio area for dinner and happened to see a new Thai food restaurant – ArroyThai Kitchen. The decor of the shop is very simple and we had decided to try their thai food. Although i am just back from our Phuket trip, i will never get tired of Thai cuisine.

Looking through the menu to see what to order and had ordered 4 dishes to go along with rice.

Tom Yum SeaFood Soup – Small

Tom yum soup with generous ingredients such as prawns, sotong, sliced fish and mushroom. Slurp!!

Homemade Thai Fish Cake

Thai fish cake dip in the sauce give a refreshing after taste and 2 pieces of the fish cake cost $5. The price is cheaper than other usual Thai food restaurant.

Fried Mince Pork with Basil Leaves

This dish really goes well with the white rice. Must Try!!

Stirred Fried Kang Kong with Chilies

The Kang Kong is very fresh and tasty.

I had not regretted trying out the thai food at Arroy Thai Kitchen. The bills for what we had ordered ( Tom Yum seafood soup, homemade fish cake, stirred fried mince pork meat with basil leaves, stirred fried kang kong, 2 bowl of steaming hot rice, green tea and coke) had cost us for only $28. The price is reasonable and most importantly the food is delicious as well. I am feeling quite hungry when i see this pictures again. If you are happen to be at the area, it is worthwhile to pay  Arroy Thai Kitchen a visit.
